Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa! This 6-day itinerary takes you on an adventurous journey through some of Uganda’s most iconic destinations. From chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park to gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park, you’ll have the opportunity to witness diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. The trip also includes a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll get to enjoy a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel. 7 DAYS, MURCHISON FALLS, KIBALE AND BWINDI TOUR

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport-Kampala
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to your city hotel.

Day 2: Kampala-Murchison Falls
You will be picked your hotel or place of residence in Kampala. Begin the panoramic drive
north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and, travel to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino Project. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must.

After lunch, a stopover at the Boomu women community project is encouraging thereafter drive to Murchison at the spectacularly situated site at the top of the fall where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7-meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile “The Murchison Falls “. Enjoy the sunset as you drive to your lodge for overnight.

Day 3: Murchison Falls
Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee ready for an early morning game drive. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you make a boat trip towards the Murchison Falls.
Carefully watched by crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, apes and all the other thirsty wildlife that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the 43 meters high and famous Murchison Falls, which approaches you with a thunderous sound. a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Overnight at your lodge

Day 4: Murchison Falls-Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale Forest National Park-Bwindi
Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primates including phoestes, red Colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both

informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc the guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: Bwindi-Kampala/Entebbe
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute and stop over at Igongo cultural centre and the Equator Uganda. Return to Kampala where you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward international flight.

Day 2: Kampala-Kibale National Park
Depart Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit. Overnight at your lodge

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale-Queen Elizabeth
In the morning you will have breakfast to transfer to Kibale Headquarters for briefing before setting off for a forest walk in search for chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms making it interesting. The walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed.

After chimp trekking drive to Queen Elizabeth ready for an evening two-hour Boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Bufallo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Thereafter drive through the Ishasha Sector; this takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment. If time allows take on a mini game drive in Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions before proceeding to Bwindi forest National Park.

Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Bwindi-Kampala/Entebbe
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute wit stopover at Igongo cultural centre to explore the life style of the Ankole and Bahima, thereafter proceed at the Equator Uganda before your evening departures home (depending on your international flight departure).
