Itinerary
Today you will arrive at Kigali International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative who will then transfer you to your hotel for overnight.
Today you will take it slow as you are still landing in Rwanda. You will head out for a city tour and visit the Genocide Museum so you can learn more about the country and how it rebuilt itself to one of Africa's most successful and stable countries in less than 20 years. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will start your journey to Volcanoes National Park, located in north-western Rwanda. It is a well-known haven for the rare and endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. The journey passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that show much of Rwanda’s landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome Virunga volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks visible. Upon arrival, relaxation at the lodge and dinner and overnight.
Tracking the Gorillas is often referred to as a life-changing experience. Seeing the Gorillas in their natural habitats is truly an amazing experience. After breakfast, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts during your gorilla trekking. The tracking will start immediately after the briefing. This is a memorable and amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around, and also do their day-to-day activities. This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 6 hours since it's dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you take photos. Later you will head back to the lodge where you will enjoy your dinner and relax after a day full of amazing highlights.
After an early breakfast, you will head back to Kigali from where you will take a flight out to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you will be transferred to the lodge for check-in and for an afternoon game drive if time allows. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Early morning you will be picked up from the lodge for an early morning balloon flight. The balloon flight will take you over Northern Serengeti and after landing back in the Serengeti you will enjoy a champagne bush breakfast on the savannah plains. Today you will spend a full day in North Serengeti with game drives scheduled by the lodge. Lunch and dinner will be served at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Manyara where you will be transferred to Karatu for relaxation at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Early morning we will descend down the crater with a breakfast box for early morning game viewing. The game viewing during the morning hours is at its glory and it's worth the early wake-up call. You will go out and look for lions, buffaloes, and even rhinos while enjoying a warm cup of coffee or tea. You will enjoy parked lunch in the crater overviewing the lake before heading back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Manyara airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to Mnemba Island, a private island off the North East coast of Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Today you will spend a full day at leisure at the barefoot paradise island of Mnemba Island. All meals will be served at the resort.

Today you will be transferred back to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your departure flight.
