Day 1: Nairobi-Aberdare National Park
On this day, you will be picked at your hotel and drive to Aberdare National Park. On arrival you
will check in and drive through the park, watching wildlife along the way to Aberdare Country
Club. After check in, you will be transferred to the Ark Lodge where you will have lunch as you
view beautiful landscapes surrounding the lodge.
The lodge overlooks a floodlit waterfall and Salt Lake which attracts a host of astonishing
wildlife. You can spend the rest of the day viewing the hills, valleys, waterfalls, and wildlife at
the lodge or partake off an optional game drive trip to the moorlands and salient wilderness.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park to Samburu Game Reserve.
On this day you will have an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. Later
check out and depart to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge before
taking an afternoon game drive. This day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve. You
can also opt to visit the cultural visits within the area where you can learn more about the
fascinating culture of Samburu People who are also pastoralists. Dinner and overnight at the
lodge.

Day 3: Samburu
After early morning breakfast you will be driven to Ewaso Nyiro River which runs around the
southern boundary and is home to crocodiles and hippos with the many animals visiting to
drink during the heat of the day. Afterwards you will head to Shaba National Reserve whereby is
known for its diverse Flora and Game species. The reserve is home to the special five that
include the Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and the endangered
Grevy’s Zebra. Return to the lodge for lunch, then later you spend your afternoon at Buffalo
Springs National Reserve to watch over 450 species of birds, wildlife and vegetation. Dinner and
overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
Early breakfast and game drive enroute as you depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park
provides visitors with images tens of thousands of flamingos forming a pink overlay of life that
carpets the water. The lake has become world famous because of these birds. By the lake shore
there are huge herds of waterbucks, zebras, buffaloes and endangered Rothschild giraffes and
other herbivores like the huge black and white rhinos. Big cats: lions, cheetah and leopards can
also be spotted in the park and large sized pythons that inhabit the dense woodlands can often
be seen crossing the road or dangling in trees. Check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge and have
lunch.
Later you may opt for an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park or relaxation at
the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge check out then depart for Lake Naivasha. The lake is
a beautiful freshwater lake, circumscribed by thick papyrus. Much of the lake is surrounded by
forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests
are flooded with bird life and the lake is known as a world class birding destination. Giraffes,
buffaloes, and the colobus monkeys are drawn by this magnificent lake by the large hippo
population can be sported during the day out in the shallows.
It’s a unique sport for bird lovers in which you can view and photograph the birds of prey at a
close range. Arrive at lodge, for check-in and relaxation. After lunch proceed to Crescent Island
Game Sanctuary which boast of abundant wildlife and bird life and enjoy a guided walk safari
where you have a close encounter with the wild animals and birds. Return to the lodge for
dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Naivasha to Nairobi
Have an early morning breakfast at the hotel, check-out and depart to Nairobi. Upon arrival at
Nairobi you will dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
